Perry Brown

Longmont, Colorado

Perry Brown is a painter of luminous, atmospheric landscapes that unite gestural and impressionistic brushwork with elements of realism and abstraction. Also present in his work is a deliberate use of light contrasted with dark shadows and enhanced by dramatic skies – classical techniques first used by Dutch painters in the 17th century. Graduating from Colorado State University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts, Perry worked as an Art Director for various retail companies including Abercrombie & Fitch until becoming a full time professional artist.

Perry’s work can be found in many corporate collections including McGraw Hill.
