Nathan Solano

Pueblo, Colorado

Unlike most artists, Nathan Solano began his painting career at the age of forty without any formal art training.  Nathan attended the University of Colorado until drafted into the military and being sent to Vietnam as an Infantry Sergeant. Returning to the United States, he worked in many professions, including as an illustrator for advertising agencies in Florida and Colorado. In 1989, he moved back to Colorado where he began painting in earnest.

Nathan’s work has been featured in The Artists Magazine, Art of the West, Southwest Art, Western Art Collector, Taos Magazine, Western Horseman, Cowboys & Indians and Wildlife Art.
