George Lundeen
Loveland, Colorado
A native of Holdrege, Nebraska, George Lundeen was a Fulbright-Hayes Scholar studying at the Academia de Belle Arte in Florence, Italy. He holds a Masters in Fine Arts from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Arts from Hastings College in Nebraska. He has also received an honorary degree, Doctor of Humane Letters from the University of Nebraska. A member of the National Academy of Design and the National Sculpture Society, George Lundeen has been commissioned to sculpt portraits and interpretive works for universities, municipalities, foundations and corporations with placements including Benson Sculpture Park, Statuary Hall in Washington, DC, Denver International Airport and Coors Field in Denver.
