Sushe Felix

Lakewood, Colorado

A native of Colorado, Sushe Felixʼs work involves a combination of her ongoing interest in the American Regionalist and Modernist Art Movements from the 1930ʼs and 40ʼs. She enjoys creating brilliant rich layers of color in compositions which utilize both geometric and organic form.

“I feel my work is all about the brilliant color, dramatic forms and shapes, and the intense lights and darks of the American Southwest.” Her work can be found in many corporate and museum collections including the Denver Art Museum, the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center, the Colorado History Museum, the Kirkland Museum in Denver, and the Jonson Gallery at the University of New Mexico.

Though abstract, Susheʼs art is symbolic of the natural world and is represented in galleries in Denver, Santa Fe, Park City, Utah and Scottsdale, Arizona.
