Pedro Ramos
Pedro Ramos' career as a professional artist has spanned more than 20 years. As a historical narrative sculptor, specifically focused on the Plains People, from the early 1700's to late 1800's, Pedro continually researches his lifelong fascination; the people, culture and land where the history of the Native Americans took place. He conducts extensive research and works in his studio, in Loveland, Colorado.
”I have the opportunity to handle many of the actual items represented in my sculpture, either from private collections or my own collection. My desire is to be as authentic and accurate as possible, while still retaining a unique, artistic feel in my work.”
Amongst Pedro’s awards are the Cowboy Artists of America Founder’s Award, received in 2009 and Gold Award (1st Place) for sculpture in 2008 at the National Western Art Exhibition.
