Ken Bunn

“I create the illusion of life” says Ken Bunn. Mr. Bunn has a unique talent of combining design and mass into portrayals of animals with a finely wrought sense of anticipated action. The center of interest may not be what animals are doing but rather where their interest is directed.  Viewers are mesmerized by his beautifully rendered sense of life, expecting at any moment the animal will spring into action. Bunn’s strong interpretive style of animals and the human figure are balanced evincing an uncanny sense of life and movement.

Bunn’s sculptures are recognizable the world over. His work is represented in some of the most respected galleries and museums in the United States, England, Canada and South Africa where he has had one-man shows. His sculpture is also collected by many museums and has become part of their permanent collections. He belongs to rarified group of artists who have been elected a National Academician by the National Academy of Design, New York.
