Welcome

The Rotary Club of Loveland and the Thompson Valley Rotary Club welcome you to the Governor’s Invitational Art Show and Sale.  We know you will enjoy this most prestigious exhibition of original art.

We are excited to offer a great selection of Colorado Artists bringing a variety of painting, sculpture and new medias.  The Show begins with a Gala Celebration on April 27, 2013 and runs through June 2, 2013, at the very lovely Loveland Museum and Gallery.

Lovelanders are so lucky to live around great art on a daily basis, and we, as Loveland Rotarians, are especially pleased to share it with you.  This “labor of love” is in its 22nd year.  It is a major fund raiser for both Rotary Clubs whose mission is to help local and global neighbors through active volunteerism and philanthropy.  Our passion and engagement in this annual project allows us to play a prominent role locally and throughout the world.

Many of the beneficiaries of the success of this Art Show and Sale are children and youth in our community and beyond.  Every 3rd Grader in the Thompson School District gets a hard-bound dictionary every year—some even take theirs to college!  Several thousands of dollars are given to college bound students each year, and an apprenticeship for a non-college bound student is arranged.  The Kids Pak program feeds hungry kids each weekend for the entire school year.  A Books for Kids campaign and other youth organizations are helped, as well as some international projects.  And, of course, both clubs are extremely active in participating in Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign.  We are “this close” to eradicating polio world-wide—only 3 countries to go.  Do not cease your immunizations yet.

Many Rotarians will be in attendance during the entire Show.  Please take time to visit with them and learn more about Rotary.  And Thank You for helping us help others.  For more Rotary information, please visit Loveland Rotary Club  or Thompson Valley Rotary Club.
